ABOUT ME

My name is Warren Lange and I graduated from Columbia University as a chemistry major in May 2015. I worked for 5 semesters as a TA in the chemistry department in both lecture and lab courses. I've seen the system from inside and out, and pass all of my experience on to you!

I have a long track record of teaching experience starting with after-school tutoring in high school. During my time at Columbia, I worked as a docent for the National Museum of Mathematics where I explained the math behind the exhibits to a wide variety of people, from toddlers to adults. I also worked as a mentor for Columbia's high school summer chemistry program.

This has been my full time job for over 5 years, and I have experience tutoring students taking classes with many different professors, including Savizky, Beer, Eckdahl, Doubleday, and more. I have a passion for chemistry and love to share it with all of my students!

We can meet in person or virtually—up to you! For in-person sessions, we'll meet in Watson Library in Uris Hall. TESTIMONIALS

"Warren was a phenomenal tutor. He knew how to adapt his teaching style and explanations to fit the way I learned best, and was able to explain the same difficult concept in many ways until I understood it. I know many students tutored by Warren, and they all swore by him. I'd walk into a tutoring session extremely anxious about an upcoming exam, and walk out feeling much more confident and relaxed, like I could handle the material. I would recommend Warren to anyone, whether you are really struggling with the material or just having a little difficulty grasping a single concept."

"Warren was able to break down complex concepts into smaller steps, which helped me not just understand content but also work through problems on my own. In addition to learning chemistry, I also improved my analytical thinking skills with his help."
